From much waste we make raw materials for new products. Styrofoam, for example, becomes plastic and paper and cardboard new paper. Crushing wood gives it a second life as new chipboard. The better we separate our waste, the better we can process and recycle it in different ways.

We do not take different types of waste mixed together. Deliver it separately and throw it in the proper containers.
Take unused fireworks to the waste disposal site, but large batches (25 kg or more) and illegal fireworks should be handed over to the police.
Do you doubt whether sheets contain asbestos? Then pack them as asbestos just to be sure -for everyone's health!
Separating waste starts at home. Don't fill up your car or trailer indiscriminately, but sort your bulky waste and put loose items in a box. This will save you a lot of walking back and forth at the recycling center. It also allows you to throw your stuff in the designated container all at once.
Are you cleaning up at home and already know that you'll have to go to the environmental center several times anyway? Then sort your waste and bring it by type. This will save you from having to drive over the weighbridge unnecessarily, which will put you back in the back again.
Don't bring paper (shreds) or Styrofoam to the recycling center when it's windy or stormy. Chances are they will blow in all directions and end up in the environment. Rather wait until the wind dies down.
Before you stop by, check our opening hours. That way you won't end up in front of a closed gate. Also, don't come a few minutes before closing time if you have a lot to get rid of.
Follow the designated route at the environmental site and do not drive against traffic. Look around carefully as you walk to the various containers.
It can sometimes be quite crowded at the recycling yard and large trucks drive around. This can cause dangerous situations. Therefore, it is best to leave children and pets at home.
Walking from the road is not permitted to bring items to the environmental site.
