It is important that single-use household packaging waste containers are empty. But they do not have to be completely clean. Rinsing is not necessary.
Flatten packages. The reason is very simple: you save space that way. Remove the cap from the plastic bottle or drink pack and squeeze out the air. Then screw the cap back on the package.
Do not put packages together. Items stuck together cannot be properly sorted by the processor. Therefore, detach them. This makes recycling easier.
